for promoting 'culturally insensitive' Matariki sale
Baby goods store Babycity has apologised for promoting a Matariki sale, saying it never intended to offend or disrespect the celebration.
Babycity had advertised its sale by saying Matariki was a time of “reflection, preparation and celebration with family and loved ones.”
“Prepare for this next chapter with amazing offers across our range,” it said in a post, which has since been deleted.
