The Government’s healthy school lunches programme is making a difference for pupils in Palmerston North.
Palmerston North MP Tangi Utikere was invited to visit three Palmerston North schools this week to see what effect the programme had on children and other issues the education sector was dealing with.
Ross Intermediate School principal Wayne Jenkins was showing Utikere around the school.
Jenkins said the programme had made the biggest difference for children in his more than 25 years in education.
