Not quite. But a recent, controversial funding decision from New Zealand’s national arts body has ignited a timely debate.
One thing everyone can agree on is that the arts are underfunded and, as we emerge from the fog of Covid-19 into stressful economic times, Creative NZ (CNZ) is finding its grants are more sought after than ever.
